I´m not really a spellchecker, or a proof reader for that matter, but my job as an editor for a major Norwegian online publication requires me to be a bit of a language Nazi. In an effort to keep my English writing skills alive, I will not blog in my native language, Norwegian, but rather attempt to make my musings and reflections available to an English-speaking audience. I went to college (BA in English and Mass Communication) and graduate school (MS in Professional Writing/Journalism) in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
This blog will mostly contain reflections on everyday life in Oslo, Norway. You will probably hear about my soon-to-be husband, who struggles to be accepted in the Norwegian State Church as a gay minister. I will probably comment on the Norwegian press, TV shows that I enjoy, travels I make, restaurants I visit and books I read.
